No matter HOW big your TV is at home - NOTHING can beat watching a film on the big screen.
But if you think that cinema is ONLY about the latest blockbuster and popcorn - think again!
Andover Film club brings a refreshing variety of films to Andover's REEL cinema, films that don't normally get shown on the Big Screen.
On Monday 4th January at the Reel Cinema in Andover at 8.15pm you can see the film Club's presentation of the Oscar winning film 'La Dolce Vita.
Set in Rome and released in 1960, the film uses seven days and nights in the life of a playboy journalist to show the decadent 'sweet life' of newly affluent post-war Italy. When it was first released, the flim thrilled the critics but was condemed by the Vatican and heavily censored. Considered by many to be Fellini's masterpiece, La Dolce Vita is full of iconic images, including the famous scene of Anita Ekbery in the Trevi fountain.
As always, the film is open to the public as well as club members.
