There's been a fire at a former Andover pub for the second time in eight months.
Firefighters were called to the Wellington Inn building on Winchester Road just before 5am.
Police closed off the road between the South Street roundabout and the Wellesley Road junction as a precaution while the blaze was tackled.
Andover firefighters have gone back to the scene to make sure the structure is safe.
They'll keep checking up on the building throughout the day and will board up the windows and doors again.
A full investigation into the cause of the fire doesn't have to be carried out because the site is empty anyway.
They believe may have been caused by squatters - the blaze was on the first floor, and was put out within two hours.
Firefighters that went inside say there was evidence that people had been sleeping inside, with mattresses on the floor, but they're not sure whether the fire had been started deliberately or not.
The building's been empty for a number of years and is set to be knocked down to make way for the new headquarters for Andover's Mencap charity.
