Anti Litter Campaign
Anti Litter Campaign

Pick up your rubbish, let Andover flourish!

That's the slogn you'll be hearing around the town from now on after a high profile new advertising campaign was launched in the town.

The aim is to stop people dropping litter and it features a cinema advert to be shown at the REEL Cinema, a radio advert which will be played on Andover Sound and a giant poster on the side of a Stagecoach bus.

It's the brainchild of Andover's schoolchildren who came up with the ideas as part of a competition organised by Andover Vision. The contest was won by youngsters of Winton School, but incorporates ideas from John Hanson, Harrow Way and their feeder schools.

Click 'play' to listen to the radio advert. You can also watch the cinema advert and see a photo of the bus advert below:

The cinema advert was created by Otto Productions

The campaign was inspired by Andover Vision and funded by Andover Sound and Simplyhealth

"Count me in, Manuela, if your going to get a crowd organised to clean up Andover's parks! I live on the edge of Vigo Park which is beautiful after it has just been cleared up, but I'd be happy to clear other spaces too. The more of us there are the better. I think that the pupil's slogan is great. Well done! "
