The Andover Branch of The Royal British Legion held their own Armed Forces Day event in Vigo Park Andover and we were there!
It took place on Sunday 28th June and included static vehicle and helicopter displays, arena events by re-enactment groups, band display, parachute drop and a thanksgiving service.
The day was a fun day for all the family with the small childrens' park being complimented with bouncy castles, tug-of-war competition and fun family events.
A parachute drop into the park by the Red Devils also took place shortly after the opening.
The day culminated in a 'march-past' through the town by service personnel, veterans, cadets, Scouts and Guides and included the Royal British Legion Bikers Branch along with a parade of veteran vehicles and a helicopter flypast!
