Thousands of people enjoyed music, entertainment and plenty of food and drink as BigFest 2010 arrived.
The Andover Live event saw local musicians, circus skills, environmental tips, local companies and more show off their skills.

"'twa good, good beer not over priced, unlkie some festivals or concerts where the beer is over priced, nice weather, god made it shine ,it nearly rained at one point, i think i felt about three drops of rain.
i didn't get there till fivish so i missed the morning, i just had a look at the photos and saw the skimily clad wimin and the telephone and dustbin or summat, . It was free, good good, stonehenge festival is free but glastonbury tickets can be around a hundred and seventy quid, i noticed the music was duets, smart dressed, they reminded me of the man who's in the radio all the time recently, but i have forgotten his name, usualy at glastonbury it starts raining when the bands start playing, twelve o clock in the afternoon on friday, makes me think of noas arc and the story where jesus is asleep on a boat and a storm comes, the disciples think they are gonna die and they wake him up and he says to the wind and waves" be still " and they stop, the dicsiples say " what man is this that even the wind and waves obey him?"thanks for having me bigfest! from ben !" |

"Well organised very well supported plenty to see and great place visually to have had it held in…
Crowds sitting and standing, and generally watching the exotic mixture, put on for us all. Very well done to every one, for this display of entertainment and of course for the time and effort that it takes to organise, advertise, erect, and then to dismantle afterwards. Andover does things and when it does, it certainly knows how to do it all with style... I was particularly gratified to see so many people that I know there, from the town... Showing that yet again, when events are put on for our Benefit it is well supported and appreciated...~M~" |
