A new business that's launched in North West Hampshire is taking recycling to a whole new level.
Harewood Green Energy, based in Longparish and take the by-products from a horse bedding factory to create wood briquettes they can sell on to people using open fires in their homes.
Martin Lampard set up the business and is even cutting down on transport costs by only stocking local shops.
And he says they are real benefits to using these briquettes alongside more traditional fuels: "It's got a lower calorific content than coal, but higher than firewood and it burns faster than coal, so it's a good supplement to that, or something like a good solid oak log - this will sort of pep things up and get them going a bit.
"There's no additives at all, the only thing that binds the briquettes together is the lignin from the bark itself."
