Thousands of pounds have been raised for local causes thanks to a football match.
The game between Andover Sound and Andover New Street's Veterans on Saturday 30th May drew a crowd of nearly 1,000 at Charlton with all the money raised going to charity.
Each of the teams' chosen charities: Testway Transform, Streets Ahead and Stephen's Ark, received a cheque for £1200 each. A donation of £300 was also given to the parents of Andover schoolboy Jamie Gentleman who died earlier this year. The money will go towards the Jamie G Memorial Fund.
New Street have played a charity game for the last four years against different teams in the town and this year's total of nearly £4000 is a record amount raised. One of the event organisers, Martin Tobin, said: "I want to thank everyone who made today possible, especially all the stall holders abd anyone who gave up their time to help. We couldn't have done it without you."
In the match itself, Andover Sound battled back from going 2-0 down early in the game to draw level just before the half time break. The game finished 2-2 and they won the penalty shootout 5-4 to take the trophy.
It's the first time New Street have ever been beaten in the game.
