People in North West Hampshire are being asked to do their bit to help children with terminal health problems.
Naomi House are looking for people to take part in the Great South Run in Portsmouth next month to raise money for the charity.
The organisation needs to raise £5 million a year to keep the service running.
Event Assistant Verity Groom says the run is an important event for them. She said: "It's the second year that we've entered people for it and it's a successful one for us, we normally get a lot of runners.
"It's a 10 mile race so it's a good one for people who are starting off on training for running.
"I think last time we raised upwards of £20,000 so it's a lot of money for us and it's obviously a really important thing for us to get that amount."
