Would be chefs from across North West Hampshire have been putting their culinary skills to the test.
Pupils from Harrow Way, John Hanson, Winton and Test Valley schools competed in Andover Rotary Club's annual cookery competition last night.
Each contestant was challenged to make two courses in an hour with a food budget of £10, before judges from local pubs and restaurants and cookware company Le Creuset picked their champion.
That winner was 14 year old Chloe Slade from John Hanson School and she explains what she cooked: "I did aubergine bake that had chorizo in it. Then I did a rustic autumn chicken which was chicken, cabbage, leek and bacon inside it.
"I didn't think I was going to win - everything was just a great atmosphere!"
