A group designed to give Andover people a chance to speak to their Test Valley representatives about the issues that affect them was disbanded last night.
The Andover Councillors Forum held its last ever meeting at the Guildhall.
It's making way for the new parish council, which will take up many of the issues that the Forum dealt with every other month.
Councillor Marion Kerley has been chairman for the last year and says that the end of the group doesn't mean the end of public participation: "It's another step forward, we've had Forum for 15 years, we've seen public come and go and some stay throughout.
"It's just been wonderful because people have got the continuity of the Forum and people have been able to ask questions that are relevant to the time." |
