Andover's Athletics Club is £10,000 better off, thanks to a donation from a national body.

Sport For All is giving the grant to the Charlton based group, to go towards the extension planned for their clubhouse.

It brings them ever closer to their £100,000 fundraising target, with the facility hoped to be ready by the winter, so athletes can do indoor winter training.

The handouts are given to clubs that work to increase participation in sport, and there's a rigorous application process to get the cash.
