If you're going to pick an argument with anyone don't bother doing it with some John Hanson pupils.
Three year eight students are celebrating after winning their way through to the finals of a national debating competition.
Rotary Youth Speaks is a public speaking contest for youngsters and the trio are set to take on regional winners from across the country in Stratford on Avon next month.
The team was made up of 13 year-olds Sam Taylor, Bryony Cuff and Jake Thurman. Sam told us: "Our topic is: 'Is honesty always the best policy?' I put across points such as 'does my bum look big in this?' - the question all men know the answer to!"
Bryony said: "We do get nervous but it's not that bad once you get going. It's really great. This time when they said we'd won we were really shocked. The other teams were really good."
Jake said: "It's made me a lot more confident and I've wanted to talk to my family and give them some speeches."
The team will now take part in the national final on 8th May.
