One of North West Hampshire's biggest events could be rescued.
The famous family fireworks event at Thruxton has been under threat after one of the organising groups, the Rotary Club, said they didn't have the funds or manpower to put it on.
However the Andover Round Table club have said they still want it to happen and will be trying hard to make sure it does.
Chairman Nigel Baxendale says: "We've had various partners over the years and are obviously sad that Rotary may not be our joint partner this year but certainly we'll be doing everything we can to run the event. If we can find local sponsors to help us fund the event then that's fantastic and also we need resources to help us with simple things like the car parking and ticket sales so there are bits we need to get in place but none of them are insurmountable."
