Some of the entries received:

Neil from Andover: I would like to nominate my wife Emma.  She cares for  myself who has been off work long term through illness, her mum is  disabled due to strokes, and she lives with us so my wife also cares for
her. And to top all that we have 4 daughters at home and a menagerie of animals. She deserves a real good pampering as we were not able to buy her a Mothers Day gift this year due to lack of finances. We all love her to pieces...from Neil, Nanny, Jess, Chloe, Amber and Daisy

Pete Walker from Amesbury: I would like to nominate my wife to be fiona dennett,we are going away on 21st may to barbados to get married and there are 22 family and friends coming too.Fiona has been really stressed for the last few months organising the wedding and guests accomadation etc all by herself. She also lost her much loved dog 6 weeks ago suddenly and was gutted. She always thinks of others before herself and i feel she deserves to be pampered herself.

Andrew Curley from Abbots Ann: I would like to nominate my mother, Mandy, for this competition. I am both diabetic and epileptic, and she has dedicated herself to caring for me, including saving my life twice. Having kept me in line as well as she could over the last 28 years, she has taken me back under her wing due to me developing partial blindness and renal problems for which both require major surgery and many visits to many hospitals. I have, due to the blindness, had to relinquish my driving licence which means that I have to depend on her to take me to every appointment, using up a large part of her work time and free time. My life without her would be impossible and as a mother and a best friend, as well as a hugely generous, understanding and comforting person, I feel that she should be given some time off, allowing her to be cared for and given the opportunity to rest, relax and enjoy herself as much as she enables me to enjoy my life.

Gary Ingram from Andover: my wife michelle should get makeover, she is the best wife, mum and friend, she had horse riding accident in febuary, and derserves ,to have some speacil time for herself, she is unselfish ,and is trying to carry on as normal ,although her back hurts her alot,so she definatly desrves make over monday, love gary (husband) bradley ,emily (the kids)

Jenny Hudgell from Andover: i would like to nominate my mum, i think she deserves to have the makeover beacuse she has 5 children, we have all grown up now and she has now started lookin after her gran children, nothing is ever to much to ask of her, and shes always thre when we need her, she was diagnsed with rhumotoid arthritis a few years back and some days she is in alot of pain and gets swelling in her joints, but that doesnt stop her doing all sahe can to make sure we are all happy.
she doesnt often have time to pamper herself and i think it will be a really nice way of saying thankyou for all that she does for us and show that we care.

Peter from Andover:  I would like to nominate, my good lady Caron, reason I am unemployed and she is working all out to keep things going, and she deserves a treat something for her self for a change
