An Andover boxing club has punched so far above its weight that it's had to move into a brand new centre.

The Sweet Science Boxing Academy was launched two years ago by Andover woman Liz Addington and yesterday official moved into its new home on the Walworth Business Park.

It's now got a full size ring and all the kit needed to train the boys, girls, men and women who go along.

Quentin Shillingford snipped the ribbon yesterday - he's a former champion boxer who grew up in Andover: "I hope the local community and the Council support Liz in what she does because the youth groups and the funders have backed her.

"I was a champion in Andover myself, Billy Pike took me to the England championships and international status, so it can be done."
