 * When not on the radio, you'll probably find him residing in the pubs around Ludgershall relaxing with a pint of Real Ale.

* Honor Blackman once called him a 'swine'.

* For charity he once had to strip off and had only a kermit the frog to cover his modesty.  Someone took a photo. Simon's hoping it won't surface in the future when he's rich and famous.

* His memory is going, which is annoying, but also great for watching films as Simon forgets the plotlines and can watch them again as if it was the first time!

* Simon's hero is Nile Rogers (one half the of disco group CHIC).Simon once met Nile when Chic came over to the UK, a thoroughly nice chap and it was the only time he says he's ever been starstruck.
