Manuela ( attitude of gratitude campaigner) of Manuela says:
16:06  on  Thursday 7th January 2010
" Good Afternoon to Wanda Sue and Dawn, you all sound and seem like lovely yummy mummies and goodness only knows the world needs more like you lovely ladies. My heart goes out to all your children for the sadness that they undoubtedly will feel and have felt, that something so truly wonderful, free and utterly priceless, has been destroyed. Perhaps I can offer you another way of maybe looking at this?♥ The Children or Youngsters that did this, or who ever, clearly have no gratitude in their own lives for their own good fortune …They had the strength to Destroy, but Didn’t Appreciate their own good health, to build one themselves. Your children, brought joy to you all, and to anyone passing, watching the snow men being built. That is what I will remember, and I will keep looking at the snow pictures on Andover Sound, as they lighten my heart and make me realise how many happy families and people, of all ages, we have here in Andover, that can find happiness and gratitude in something as simple as freshly fallen snow.♥ "

Dawn McGregor of Verity Square, Cricketers Way says:
11:42  on  Thursday 7th January 2010
"We all got together yesterday in Verity square and had a massive snowball fight with our children. It was absolutely magical to see there little faces having so much fun. We then built an 8ft snowman together called mr chomps. They were so proud of him and kept looking out the window to see if he was ok. Then this morning when they looked out they were devastated to see he'd been knocked down, our 3 yr old broke his little heart. I hope the cowardly morons are proud of themselves for breaking our childrens hearts. They are just damn right thoughtless scum....."

sue of tintagel says:

"as wanda above ..have to report the tintagel giant snowman is no more someone (s)thought it funny to roll the giant snow ball the kids als o made down the hill and wreck him..did these people have nothing better to do,the kids had a great day yesterday and all worked together to build him..just glad our children will have the happy memories and photos to remember their snow day"

Wanda Braine of Launcelot Close says:
22:47  on  Wednesday 6th January 2010
"I spent all day outside today helping my nieces and the children next door, building a snow cat. The youngest being 3. We all had fun doing this and the kids went to bed with big smiles on their face. But at 9.30pm some person has destroyed their cat not thinking about the time that was spent or how we now have to explain to the kids how heartless some people can be. I am now a very angry Andover resident."
